White House Decries 'Democrat Hoax' as More Epstein Estate Photos Released

House Democrats have released a fresh batch of what they described as "troubling" pictures from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—some of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 released later on Friday represent a small number of the nearly 100,000 images provided to the House oversight committee, which is examining the conduct and connections of Epstein.

The disgraced financier died by apparent suicide in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking crimes.

Notable Figures in the Images

Featured among the high-profile individuals visible in the first release are well-known figures including film director Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is featured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are obscured.

Administration Response

The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, accusing Democrats of purposefully "hand-picking" the photographs for political purposes and to "seek to establish a false storyline."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a White House spokesperson said, asserting that "the Trump administration has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats ever have by consistently demanding openness, making public reams of documents, and demanding additional probes into Epstein's liberal connections."

Congressional Democrat Remarks

The photographs were disclosed without context, but as stated by a California Democrat and senior member of the oversight committee, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.

"Now is the occasion to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he stated in a comment.

The release of these materials comes as the House panel continuing its investigation into the affair.
